DUSTIN DONOVAN McLEAN

Is an Award winning writer and director and a filmaker based in Los Angeles, California. In 2022, they sold options on their scripts “Christmas Eve Will Find You” and “All The World Falls First.” Their directorial feature debut “As It’s Remembered” was recently released by Gravitas Ventures and in 2020 their short film ‘Betaville’ won Best Sci-Fi Short at the Avelonia Film Festival. Their stories are almost always romantic genre films, bringing intense emotional depth and character development to stories that are often missing those elements. Their scripts are known for compelling concepts and characters, taut pacing and creative but effective structure. After securing distribution for their last film, Dustin is focusing on packaging and selling their elevated Sci-Fi Horror project Cambria.

 

Comedically, they have been involved in improv, and nearly had a pilot picked up by Comedy Central. A short comedy film they co-wrote and starred in has been featured in many film festivals and even their most serious screenplays have a comedic tone.
